Kimberly is a native Texan and grew up in the Dallas area.
Kimberly attended both the University of North Texas and Texas State University with a major in English. After college, she moved to the Seattle area in 2001 where she began her veterinary career and became a licensed veterinary technician in Washington state in 2006. She has been back in Texas, the Austin area, since 2011.
Kimberly has worked in both general practice and specialty practice as a surgery technician and an internal medicine technician. Her favorite aspect of working in veterinary medicine is getting to play a part in enhancing the quality of life for all pets and their people specifically through education, quality care, and emotional support.
Kimberly shares her home with a crew of 7 pets, all adoptees, with very complex pasts. They are: Charles and Rosie (2 elderly Boston Terriers), Dignan and Sissy (2 young Chihuahua mixes), Bear (an elderly Chihuahua), Bipin Lady Turts (a Box Turtle), and Sprout (a Betta Fish.) Kimberly is very excited to serve the people and pets of the Austin area here at Crestview Veterinary Clinic.
